In today’s New York Times, Jan Hoffman explores the thorny issues that schools face in dealing with cyberbullying, those vicious text messages and Facebook postings students often use to hurt each other. She writes that one in five middle-school students has been cyberbullied — through cellphone texts, social networking sites, instant messages and online games, according to a 2010 study by the Cyberbullying Research Center, a think tank founded by two criminologists. link to read article
